Why the health department don’t deal with such abnormal births?

A senator ask UNIMAS to study the 500 abnormal births in Ulu Baram areas around Long lapuk-which raise the issue: why is the state Health Minister not deal with such an issue? Is it an issue where the victims need to become some statistics before the government will step in -say 10-20 years later?

Repeat of Sg Asap in the making for Murum Dam resettlement?

This time it involve 1000 semi-nomadic Penans-with greater challenge to the authorities who build the Murum dam, which is further upstream than Bakun Dam. The distance from cities often means that the problems may never be heard, or much less heard. All this conspire to turn the resettlement into a worse copy of the previous resettlement schemes in Batang Ai, Bakun etc.
