The 2nd day of the blockade saw the Lun Bawang blockaders rejecting the offer of ex-gratia payments in exchange of stopping the blockade. It seems that those in power think that the Lun Bawang can be bought over from their insistance on land rights by merely making some token payment to them. They are gravely mistaken!
