Waiting, waiting...

Sarawak’s Chief Minister openly asked the PM Najib to go for simultaneous Parliament and states elections so that Sarawak will be spared the onslaught of Opposition’s firepower-but the PM who have some other more important agenda in mind is not playing along. He reportedly did not ruled it out-and how can he when it involves the `fixed deposit’ state of Sarawak? But he can keep the Sarawakian CM  guessing till the last minute-when the state elections must be held by July this year! EC got it wrong on both occasions-but see what the EC chief did: The EC apologised to the Melaka Chief Minister-but how about to the Selangor State Government? See 2 reports below to find out the EC’s 2 faces! A strange looking map of the Merlimau constituency seems to suggest a gerry-mandaring attempt to cobble together disparate geographies to squeeze some advantage to the ruling parties! With such a partial referee how can Sarawak expect a fair election?
