Much as I loath commenting on you guys, but I just can’t help it.
Firstly, who are you (Pandi-Vice Youth Chief ) and (Richard Silo-Ba Kelalan Youth Sec) in comparison to Baru Bian. BB may not be a perfect man, but he has the integrity and character of a leader that we are very proud of. He never portrays himself as a hero or the saviour of the Dayaks. But his deeds, particularly on defending NCR, and not only for the Dayak, but also the Malays or Muslim Bumiputera as they like to call it. Please acknowledge that BB has won many cases for that matter. That is within his capability.
To expect him to bring development to Ba Kelalan is rather foolish. He is not the government. Perhaps Taib can, for he has all the money. But mind you two, should PR form the next State gov’t, they also “BOLEH” and not just mere slogan. As for you two, yes continue to support BN and PBB blindly.
The truth is, no one equals Taib Mahmud or has his stature. Or are you two going to be the next CM and rule Swak for more than 32 yrs. to break Taib’s record. As it stands, there is noone in PBB who is smart enough – tho’ there are doctors, engineers, lawyers. Ask Taib himself. IS THERE????? If there is, then Taib himself would have announced publicly his heir apparent. TO MAKE you recall, its no secret Adenan Satem left KL and return to Sarawak to become CM. What a dream. And where is he now. Thus, asking Adenan to debate with BB is somewhat like asking Mr. Bean and George Bush to debate.
Remember James Masing, when he was acting like a smart ass facing Al Jazeera to defend Taib. Watch how he was jabbering. The truth is, its not easy to lie when you know the truth. Would Adenan be the same. Sure he is. Whatever he said as regards Taib, would be twisted as his words, and not Taib.
Only Taib can debate with BB. And if there is nothing to hide, and him being the SMART guy, then debate with BB. There is no question of seeking cheap publicity. LET THEM DEBATE AS A GENTLEMEN. This is what CIVIL SOCIETY is all about. But of course, Taib cannot be distracted at the moment-not with burung waleed by his side. And don’t be surprise if Kolej Laila Taib goes through a REBRANDING PROCESS and renamed University Kolej Islam Ragad Waleed Al Kurdi. Taib boleh.
Just food for thought. Changes long overdue may brew discontents. Anger can and may lead to protest. Some people who are agrieved may seek legal address, while others might resort to other means. REMEMBER Egypt, Tunisia and Libya now. PEOPLE can rebel when they cannot get what they want through legal means. BUT REMEMBER, when not handled cautiously, this protest may lead to a REVOLUTION. We Sarawakians are mild people. We don’t want this kind of thing to happen. But don’t underestimate the power of the people. The days are not always sunny. PBB and BN are not something that cannot be rid of.
Just a simple reminder, being who and what you, its alright to defend your master. but be careful as not to defend blindly, for the forces of the rakyat will one day soon sweep into power and get rid of all the EVILS and DEVILS.
Long Live People Power.
Even Bario is not high enough.
