Sarawak Report’s popularity spawn clones while it open new page with Wikileaks on Sarawak’s land grabs

Sarawak Report web site has something to prove its popularity: a clone web site has started here to praise Taib here, but failed to answer the charges of land grabs, corruption and property accumulations by Taib during his 30-year rule. Sarawak Report don’t bother with the clone and go ahead to start a new page using Wikileaks framework to help document the hundreds or thousands of land grabs that have taken place in Sarawak.
The cloning attacks on Sarawak Report is to be expected as the Sarawak BN component parties have recently got together to set up their cyber trooper units -led by PBB Youth chief and assisted by counterparts of the other component parties. By complimenting Taib it will recruit from the same pool of writers from the mainstream media-and sing the same tune as the mainstream media. Wonder if this can count as a dash of originality that attract readers for them-let alone to compete withe the original Sarawak Report?
Taib blew the whistle-but delayed the effect

Taib finally blew the whistle on the dissolution of the State Assembly-but he did it his way! He announced that the State Assembly will be dissolved-but only on Monday! It is like a whistle to start a race in 10 min! What a wait! Usually it should be a whistle to start a race immediately! Is it to give more time to his 2 BN bosses time to wind up their current campaign in Sarawak?
Anyway the EC will take till Wed to announce the timeline of the elections-its nomination and polling dates. If the timetable seems to have been brought forward a bit from popular expectation the more important possibility is that there could be an attempt to rush the elections to advanatge the incumbent party. Already some PBB lawmakers suggested to keep the campaign period to the legal minimum of 7 days, which contrast to the usual 10 days in Sarawak.
