Titbits from Kapit

Talking about gentlement campaign – statement coming from BN makes me wanna puke. BN memang cakap tak serupa bikin.

PKR Baleh and Pelagus submitted their application for permit – for Dato Seri Annuar to address the crowd at Kapit only Town Square. It was met with outright refusal from the OCPD. The organisers even had to apply for permit for Dato Seri Annuar to visit Rh. Bundong longhouse in Pelagus and Rh. Edison Bugak at Baleh. The reason - security.

Kapit town a small outward outpost with a population of no more than 2,000 – surely the police are more than capable of containing any untoward incidents. The irony is, they are more than capable of maintaining security for Najib this coming 15 April. But why can’t they do it with Dato Seri Annuar. But I’m not blaming the police, cos they were merely doing their job – “Arahan dari pihak atasan.”

If BN continues with this trend, the people will openly protest. As I understand, the chinese population in Kapit were really looking forward for Dato Seri Annuar with his firebrand speech. The Chinese dailies were full of news and praise regarding Dato Seri Annuar speech. His presence was a real crowd pulling – by their thousand. TV & newspaper don’t lie (in this case). BN is getting desperate.

If my memory serves me right, Taib Mahmud used to say BN will sweep all 71 seats and return BN to its past glory. But Taib himself openly said BN would retain its 2/3 majority. A far cry from a confident CM of the past. Even Najib said “simple majority is target, and gaining 2/3 majority is a bonus.” MKINI.

Something is not right, despite an all out onslought by the BN.

To all the pro BN bloggers – please read the news - not just RTM1, 2 TV3. And don’t just tweet amongs yourself. Be open minded, get yourself exposed and used to the fact that not all is green for BN.
