Tuan Kulasegaran a/l Murugeson minta PERDANA MENTERI menyatakan:-

a) Jumlah wang yang dibelanjakan oleh Kerajaan untuk mendaftar pemilih baru dari tahun 2004 hingga tahun 2010; dan

b) Jumlah pengundi yang melebihi umur 21 tahun ke atas yang masih belum mendftar sebagai pemilih.

Lee Hi Yeen of KL registering a rural young voter in Sg Asap, under the Sarawak Road Show program in June.

As though suddenly there is a surge in interests in voters registration -after Sarawak Road Show kick started such an initiative in September last year! There is now a new youth based group EPIC which boast of registering 20 000+ new voters since a few months back. Their target; 2mil new voters! Now PAS say in their congress going on now: new voters will be their way to stem back flow of Malay votes to BN and they put their target at 1mil new voters! So why is there such an interests in something which appeared, at most, as a philanthropic gesture to empower the citizens with life-long voting rights under our voluntary registration system?

Ngiling Bidai Sg. Aup 2010

Barking dogs never bite. Its the silent one that suddenly gnarled and bit anyone. Sometimes its fun to speak paradoxically or in parables. Nevertheless, from what I observed, “barking politics” as mentioned by YAB Pehin Sri Taib Mahmud during the launching of ‘Program Sejiwa Senada’ in Sibu yesterday seemed to work. This insistent barking , though irritating got on the nerve of our CM. Had it been a toothless barking, I’m sure he wouldn’t have bothered mentioning it. So I guess, barking politics does get the message across.
