Following the law the contesting parties are not supposed to start campaigning until the whistle is blown after the nomination on Apr 6th. But well before that BN politicians are campaigning all over the place but PKR leader Baru Bian was stopped from doing the same in Lawas town just 2 weeks ago. Why the double standards?
Reject the opposition – Talib

MUKAH: Voters should reject the opposition as most of their politicians were incapable of becoming good leaders, said Jepak assemblyman Datuk Talib Zulpilip.
Instead, Talib called on Sarawakians to vote wisely for Barisan Nasional (BN) in order to enjoy uninterrupted development and prosperity.
Talib reminded Sarawakians not to listen to the words of opposition leaders from West Malaysia whom he (Talib) described as ‘big liars’ and political rejects within their own community.
“It is not right for the opposition to ask Sarawakians to accommodate politicians from West Malaysia who are already rejected by their own community politically,” said Talib, echoing the words of the prime minister that PKR stands for ‘Parti Keluar Ramai-ramai’ instead of Parti Keadilan Rakyat.
Talib made the remarks in his speech as guest-of-honour at the Gotong Royong Perdana program organised by Tourism Task Group (TTG) Mukah held at Boulevard Setia Raja Mukah here yesterday.
Touching on developments in the tourism industry, Talib was confident that tourism can become the biggest contributor to our economy growth, with good air connectivity support from MAS, AirAsia, Firefly and other airlines.
Mukah Resident who is also TTG Mukah chairman Saudi Narani delivered his welcoming speech at the function attended by his deputies Mohd Junaidi Mohidin (development) and Philip Peter Salam (social), Public Works Department (JKR) Mukah divisional engineer Hipani Alwi, chairman of Mukah Dalat District Council (MDDM) Walikota Ali Suhaili, heads of government department and community leaders.
