Kayan community leader sent a memo to Najib

RAYUAN PENDUDUK KAMPUNG LONG BEMANG,
APOH -TUTOH, BARAM, BAHAGIAN MIRI, SARAWAK
KAMI, Ketua Kaum dan Ketua Masyarakat serta wakil-wakil dari masvarekat Kavan dart Kampung Long Bemang, Apoh-Tutoh, Daerah Baram, Bahagian Miri, Sarawak inqin merayu keoeda YAB Datuk Seri untuk mengambil ttndakan kepada tsu-Isu dan maselah-mesalab yang kami sudah kami kenalpasti dan sedang karnt hadapl seperti berikut:
1. Nasvarakat karru di Kampung Long Bemang telah menduduki kawasan tanah hak adat bumiputra (NCR) kaml sekarang di kawasan 5ungai Apoh sejak dari tahun 40an etas dorongan dan sokongan kerajaan pada masa Itu. Kami mempunyai gads sempadan di antara kampung-kampung lain di kawasan Apoh seperti Kampung Long Wat, Long Atip, Long eeorao, Long Penal dan dengan masyarakat kaum Penan Long Buang.

Abun Sui turned up to court in traditonal attire.

Nicholas' lawyer See Chee Hau called the IO after no police turned up in court.

Both Abun Sui and Nicholas Mujah who were picked up a couple of weeks ago for possession of `seditious’ CDs turned up to the Magistrate court in Miri and Kuching respectively-only to find nobody from the police or KDN side attending to their case. Abun Sui who was picked up for `Sedition Act’ investigation while Nicholas Mujah was picked up for Film Censorship Act investigation more than 2 weeks ago, in relation to alleged possession of Cds containing programs of Radio Free Sarawaqk and TV Sarawak Bebas. Nicholas called up the police and was told to go to the Simpang 3 police station to meet up with the Investigation Officer, who was later said to be out of office. 2 KDN officers who were involved in the arrests earlier came to tell Mujah that the bail has been renewed indefinitely until he is told otherwise. Mujah asked for the seized material to be returned but the officers said that the possessions will only be returned upon disposal of the case.
